Dear Kittyhawk Member,
If you haven’t already, now is the time to mark your calendar for our annual Christmas Party. Those who have been before know this is an event you don’t want to miss. If you haven’t been before, you’ve got to give it a try. See the attached flyer for details, sign up online at the web site, and pay by credit card.
This is also the time of the year to consider a donation to our Chapter Scholarship Program. This is one of the most important ways we contribute to the future of Electronic Warfare and Information Operations. Your support is essential to the health of our program. The details are explained in the enclosed letter from our scholarship chairman, Gary Whitted. Please be as generous as you can.
Attendance at our monthly luncheons continues to grow and for good reasons, the speakers are interesting and timely, the atmosphere is good, and the food is great. If you haven’t been to the Tower Club, you’ve got to try it. The cost of lunch is still only $15 and where else could you have lunch and network with so many Crows? Better yet, bring a prospective member. I can’t think of a better way to demonstrate what a great organization we have. There’s still time to sign up for our November luncheon. You can make your reservations online at www.KittyhawkAOC.org and pay by credit card. If we have your email address, you’ll get reminders in advance.
Marilyn Shaw is planning our Spring Fling. We’ll be trying something different at lower cost. We’ll be sending out an announcement early next year, so be on the lookout. We hope more of you will want to attend.
For the second year in a row, the Kittyhawk Chapter was recognized by the National AOC as a Distinguished Chapter. Thanks again, to Roberto Van de Wyngard for preparing our nomination package. In addition, eleven Chapter members received awards from the National AOC. They’re listed on the web site.
Finally, please let me know how we can better support you. This is your organization and we depend on your inputs and support.
Best regards,
Dave
