Educational Support

Scholarships

The Kittyhawk Chapter began a Scholarship Fund in the early 1970's and has supported multiple local and regional universities. The Kittyhawk Chapter currently has a total of seven local and regional universities in it's “portfolio”; The University of Dayton, Wright State University, Ohio State University, The University of Cincinnati, Cedarville University, Central State University, and Sinclair Community College. The latter three schools were added in 2003 and 2007 as a result of the chapter's scholarship expansion plan. Our annual objective is to support one to two $1,000 scholarship grants at each school. Scholarships go to these seven universities who identify and select juniors and seniors studying one of the engineering fields or math & sciences. The overall goal of the Scholarship Program goal is to invest in students who will in turn support the future of the AOC.

A second part of our KAOC Chapter Scholarship Program is the Member/Dependent Grant Application program. The Chapter annually provides $1,000 grants to qualifying and worthy Kittyhawk AOC Chapter members or their dependents that are pursuing higher education.
